  • Chaz & Chris…I listened to your Podcast, episode 2….several thoughts: 1) I liked the music addition, nice touch 2) the condition of only listening to one or more news sources that share ones views is called, “confirmation bias”. It suggests you might not be getting the whole story on an news event, just the part that confirms your biases…3) I have felt if you really want to understand another opposite (or different) point of view….argue “their” point of view. It forces one to educate themselves on the other side of the issue and review it from different angles. 4) and lastly, Always, Always know your mind…what I mean is, almost always a person knows what is right/wrong, good/bad. Don’t let some authority tell you differently. Example: the neighborhood is burning in the background, news reporter announces , “nothing to see here”….(or my favorite)…”these are mostly peaceful protests”….the mind can’t be fooled….5)Okay, this is the last….deductive reasoning works more times than not, ie…if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, etc etc.
